Digital SLR Cameras For Beginners
This full day workshop
is aimed at beginners who want to unlock the potential their digital SLR camera
has to offer. The course will teach you how to take control of your camera and get the photos you really want. The day starts by
looking at the basic functions of an SLR camera, soon moving onto exploring
aperture, shutter speed, ISO, and how to compose a good photo. There’s plenty of
chance to ask questions and put your new found skills into practice in the
grounds of Mill Green (or inside in the warm if its cold!) with the trainer on hand to help.
This course is perfect
for SLR beginners or for those who currently use an SLR but find themselves
‘stuck’ on automatic mode. If you want to improve your photography in a fun and
relaxed environment with an experienced photographer / trainer, you’ve come to the right
place!
What you will learn about:
- Introduction to SLR cameras and how they work
- How to frame a good photo, focus, composition & the ‘rule of thirds’
- How to use light, types of lighting and ISO
- Exposure, aperture (f numbers), and depth of field all explained
- Shutter speed and understanding movement in photos
The next date for this course will be announced soon. Contact me to find out more
